a sister's love

 

 

 

 

Every once in awhile I get asked if I do wedding or engagement photography-and well, nope I don't. I have great respect for people who are able to do that-capture the emotions and images of such a special time. To be honest-I feel as though it would be difficult to maintain inspiration doing that sort of work and I admire people who can do it.

The photos above were shot by Wing Hon Films a Bay area photographer. The thing that is so special about these is that they feature my beautiful sister Cassie and soon to be brother in law Eddie. Aren't they adorable? And the "props" in their photos aren't just props-they are objects that have played a part in their relationship (they met and fell in love during a play that Cassie acted in and Eddie helped produce, suitcases they've traveled with, the park they plan to marry in...you get the idea...).

I've been dreaming a lot about taking a trip to the woods.

This forest print by photographer Debbie Carlos would be a nice thing to stare at everyday. I'm amazed by its beauty...

I really, really, really would like to go camping in the British countryside someday.

Hello out there.

Sorry for the weeks away.

Wasn't really planning on doing that-but hey-when you have to move hundreds of miles away on short notice it's bound to happen.

I figured that since today was the start of Summer, it'd be a good day to start again.

These photos are bright and calm-exactly how I'd like my summer to be.

So maybe I'll see you back around here?
