I love how classic and simple all of their products are-and how the designs are timeless.

When I think about camping, road trips, backpacking across Europe and other general daydreams-these bags and tents definitely come to mind as part of those scenes.
The older I get, the more I think about buying products that last, that are made by good hard working people, and products that I won't want to throw away next year. These definitely fit the bill.

I think it is pretty darn cool.
I adore all of these hand made garments that Brooklyn Tailors is now offering online. The details look exquisite and the fabric choices are just right. There's even a rumor that they'll be adding some women's wear to the shop soon.

PlainMADE studio's new spring scarves are hands down the most beautiful, playful and well made fashion items I've seen this year.
Chelsea's illustrations, textures and colors are so original and just plain gorgeous.
I think I need to have this scarf hanging in my room as a piece of art.
And although I own a winter version, I'm thinking I need one of these in either pink or chartreuse.

I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Amber Mahler last December.
She is the woman behind ManiDesigns Jewelry. Amber gathers pieces from the natural world; seedpods, tiny branches, leaves, flowers, even berries and casts them using a lost wax technique. She then creates gold and silver pieces from these casts-leaving her with a gorgeous and completely unique collection.
Her line is an intricate series of works that in person is seriously breathtaking. When you hold a piece in your hand it almost seems it is too fragile to last, but her pieces are super sturdy. Amber is a poet and metal is her medium.
ManiDesigns was exclusively available wholesale and through craft shows but Amber just opened a new etsy shop. Be sure to check it out!
I've recently become a big fan of Marie Emily and the simple (looking) clothing she creates for herself. This set is filled with her classic creations.
I know that with sewing-it is easier said than done-and she's got a knack for creating beautiful, everyday wearables.
