Domy is a great little store here in East Austin that is one part independent bookseller and one part gallery. Their collection of media focuses on short run books, limited editions, and/or those titles that promote art and culture.

I found myself lost here-I browsed their selection for over an hour before deciding on a back issue of Aperture magazine. I found the store's flickr page and happened upon these photos above. All the books pictured are on my wish list, especially the last one-so good!

Paula Valentim is a ceramic artist who creates stunningly simple works. I adore the pureness of her nature inspired creations.  She also writes a fascinating blog where she often documents her inspirations. You can find her blog here, her online shop here, and her flickr here.

I think that is a brilliant idea, you can find them at the Neopolitan etsy shop.

Have you seen this film?

It's a very interesting look at the creative side of the advertising industry.

I found myself crying and laughing while watching this film.

I highly recommend this if you are a remotely creative person-which aren't we all?

Last weekend at HOPE farmer's market we had the pleasure of stumbling upon the Dai Due booth. If you're familiar with the Austin "food scene" you are probably familiar with them. I can say this honestly-they deserve the hype.

Dai Due produces delicious and unique foods that are locally sourced and made with care. They also host Supper Clubs which look pretty much amazing! (Um, this post is a must read.)

I love their concept and I also love their styling-isn't that logo beautiful and aren't those table settings gorgeous? Be sure to check out their site for more info. 

They have totally inspired me to host a fun backyard dinner party.
