As I wrap my head around the idea that I will be a Mother (!) I can't help but think of all of the new potential decorating possibilities. This probably sounds terrible-of course I think of loving the little one, watching the little one grow, watching my family interact with the little one....but sometimes all of that can be overwhelming. And those are the times when I dream about what the baby's nursery may look like.
James and I are of modest means. I hope to create many of the baby's belongings and to spend the minimum amount of money we can. That being said, I don't want to totally expect that I will become some amazing DIY queen.
Anyway, I've been looking for simple ways to spruce up a child's space and I love the idea of hanging Japanese Paper balloons around for some bright color and interesting texture.
The photo above is a beautiful example of this. It is from a long time favorite blog of mine, ledansla.
You can find some really great and pretty inexpensive paper balloons at this online shop, Ugisu.
