So we are finally settling into our new apartment and Asa's room is coming together. I painted the accent wall a deep bluish-gray and kept the trim and other walls a bright white.
We've decided on this simple crib from Ikea that I'm happy to report, is incredibly affordable! I scoured the internet for reviews and also asked around and to my surprise, Ikea cribs came out on top. I adore the modern design and I think it will look great against the gray wall.
I love the bright colors in this poster from DEUZ. I'm not sure I will purchase it (you can here for around $40) but I will definitely look for similar artwork.
We picked up a red dog booty hook from Ikea because we basically could not pass it up. It looks super funny against the gray wall and we may get a few more. We shall see what we need.
I am enamored with this growth chart. What a genius concept! The etsy shop is sold out and will restock on the 20th, so depending on the price this may or may not be added to his room. I definitely like the idea, though.
And lastly, these Kid O nesting cups would look super cute on a shelf in his room and be lots of fun down the line. And for $10 I think they'd be worth it.

So I guess you could say I've been nesting, huh?
Love all this stuff! Nesting is so much fun, and you've inspired me to do a little more... :)

Fantastic start! Gotta love Ikea... we're planning to get one of their cribs once Dylan outgrows her co-sleeper.
Love the name Asa. Did you know it's a Portland name? Asa Lovejoy =)
