Hello out there and happy Monday!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
We had a very quiet one here in Austin which was a nice change of pace.
So, the above post probably seems a little strange if you a regular reader, I don't usually share portraits here-but hey-this year has been so completely full of change for me-why not?
Pictured above is my friend, Brooke. Moving to Austin this summer without knowing a single soul (well, James moved here, too-but you get the idea...) was a rough transition for me. Brooke welcomed me with open arms and has been a dear friend here.
Just about any day now Brooke will be giving birth to a little baby girl. I am so thrilled and excited for her! She's been so open and honest about her pregnancy and her fears, hopes and dreams about motherhood. I totally admire her for that. Watching her progress and seeing her family grow has been a treat! I cannot wait for little baby Juniper gets here. I know Brooke will be a great mother.
Sometimes I get all anxious and consumed with little things that don't really matter much. It's nice to step back and look at the happy, important things in life. Thanks for reminding me to do that, Brooke!
Hope you all have a lovely day.
