For those of you who are new readers (or maybe never understood what I was blabbing about) five senses friday was started years ago by my friend, Shari Altman. I use it weekly as way to sit down and reflect on what the past days have been like for me.
I would love it if you played along-you can leave your own version in the comments or on your blog.
Touching:
This amazing tissue paper balloon. It is actually a lot of fun to try and delicately bounce around-I can't help but grab it gently every time I see it.
Tasting:
Chicken enchiladas I made using an old recipe my Mom taught me. They tasted like childhood.
Smelling:
The pungent goodness of Townshend's clear mind kombucha.
Hearing:
The tiniest of birds chirping right outside our bedroom window. A whole flock seems to have made that spot their home.
Seeing:
The beginning of growth. Slowly but surely, crocuses are popping out of the ground to say hello.
What about you?
I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Are you doing anything fun?
(p.s. in case you missed it earlier this week-any one who places an order in my bigcartel photo shop before Feb. 15 will receive this print as a free gift. Think of it as a little Valentine from me.)
