I was given this old shift several months ago and it's since become my one of my favorite objects. This vintage piece was hand made with care; all of the little details make me smile.
The buttons (which sadly didn't show up so well in these photos) are such a shiny red and bakelite. The name embroidered on the chest makes me daydream about the woman who owned it.
I'm convinced it's an old uniform-but am not sure what kind. Any ideas?
