Sometimes, I feel like I can hear photos-is that crazy?
Probably...
This one, if it had a sound, would be silent.
A good kind of silence.
I feel peaceful when I look at it.
It's an out take from my shoot for Tumbleweed and I am hypnotized by it.
Here are some other photos I am loving but have nothing to do with one another:
I hope you all have a lovely evening...

Here are some out takes from my first ever photo shoot!
Yesterday I shot photos for Tumbleweed Boutique and it was so amazing!
I learned so much and am so thankful to my super sweet models; Kitty and Allison and hugely grateful to Kara for giving me this opportunity! I picked up some of the film last night and cannot wait until I can share it with you all.
Amanda posted and interview with me over at her super cute blog! Thanks Amanda! Be sure to check out the other posts, too-so good.
I'm loving polaroid week-how about you?
I will have a special little polaroid print in my shop on Friday.
Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a lovely day!

These polaroids are from a hike James and I took this summer. Funny how it seems so long ago now that the warm weather is gone.
Today I have my first real "photo shoot"! I am so excited! Eek! I know the two girls who will be modeling for me, so I think it will be a lot of fun!
Go check out more polaroid love over at flickr!

It's 'Roid Week my friends!
Here are some leftover shots from Fern Hill. These were all taken with my Polaroid One Step Camera. It's all so 90's, right?
I can't wait to go peruse the pool and find tons of new favorites! Cheers!

Hello.
I think I overdid it.
You know the feeling, right?
It's not a bad thing-just time for me to regroup a bit. Eat better, sleep more that kind of thing.

I just watched this movie. It is the sweetest thing I've seen in awhile.
Thanks for the recommendation!

Tuesday is a big day for me, I'll tell you more later.

For those of you in and around Portland on November 15, their will be an amazing trunk sale that day. More details soon.
***********************************
And a little shop business, after several days of stuffing envelopes, packaging prints and running to the post office...and running errand upon errand I realized I was underselling my prints a bit. I raised the price of them by $2. I am not complaining about having business I just wanted to let you all know why the prices went up slightly...
I'm sold out of the lovely ladies 5x7 but will have big sizes in the shop soon. Email me for more info. (abbytrysagain@yahoo.com)
Thanks!

It got chilly today in Portland.
I had to dig out these mittens Mom knit for me, aren't they sweet?
I feel like making these tonight, but the reality is I'll probably just heat up a can of clam chowder.
That's something I thought I'd never write on this blog "heat up a can of clam chowder". Oh, but it is my reality!
Anyone seen a good movie lately? I'd love to relax this weekend.....

Just a quick note to say-if you wanted to order the lovely ladies print-do it soon!
I'm only printing a limited edition of each print in each size-so these are almost gone in the 5"x7" size!
They will be available in a larger format possibly down the line.
Thank you so much everyone!!!

Okay everyone, the shop is open!
I am totally nervous and worried about how it will all turn out, but I'm so frazzled at this point that I just have to breathe in and out and say-it is done for now.
I had some quality issues with the postcards last minute, so no postcards for the time being, but there are prints!
I am ecstatic over the quality of the prints. I got them back and (not to gloat, but) I was extremely pleased! The colors are perfect, the paper thick and everything is just right. I'm so happy to be able to offer them to you.
I've been blogging for almost four years and I owe a humongous thank you to each and every one of you readers out there. Thank you for letting me share with you and thank you so much for all of your kind feedback! Thank you for letting me grow and evolve...this has meant so much to me. And thank you to all of you out there who have taught me so much.
I hope this little shop can be a way for me to share my photos with you, and a way to offset some of the film cost for me. I tried to price them at what I think is a fair and very affordable price. I hope you all feel the same.
I owe a hug thank you to my sister, Lindee-without whom none of this would be possible. She has helped me in so many different ways that I just can't even begin to list them...but thank you Lindee.
The photos above are from a recent breakfast of ours.
Okay, well thanks again for all your support and I'd love to hear what you think about the shop!

I owe so many of you emails....I hope that you'll forgive me! Soon, soon....
