Too much good stuff

So, I am kind of catching up here-sometimes it's hard to post during the week. The goodies above are what I sent out for the Vintage Swap I participated in, which ended last week. You were to fill up a manilla envelope with whatever vintage goodies you think your partner would like-and you received some in return My partner was Debbie Overton who is a collage artist as well as wife and mother. She sent me some lovely goodies-just look at these rosaries I have to add to my collection of religious kitsch! Thanks so much Debbie!

Also, my sister Lindee brought me up some knitted goodness from my lovely mother. A knitted sweater in fall colors and a flower washcloth (from "Weekend Knitting"). Look:



This weekend, a new fabric store and yarn shop are opening in my neighborhood-right next door to each other-this is so exciting!  James has Saturday off (he never does) and we actually have date plans. Wow-I am so lucky. I finished my back tack project, but my partner doesn't have it yet-so no pictures! I will post again soon.
