The June edition of print+press is now available!

This month features a photo I took while on a small trip. These bikes were available for rent and screamed summer to me. I wish I could hop on one right now and ride along the beach...This month, there is no process page, we're taking a break!

This month, Chelsea and I went green and natural.
Her piece is a beautiful print with lovely layers and colors and my photo is of my favorite plant, the succulent.

(Some of you have asked how to participate-and I'd like to keep this free form. Personally, I round up a list of my "best of" experiences for the whole week and present them to you here. You may choose just one day or things you saw online or things you remember, it is up to you!)

see

-daffodils, daffodils, daffodils all over the place

-practically every tree in the neighborhood blooming

-so many shelves as we comb though sites and catalogs trying to figure out some new storage ideas

smell

-the smell of fresh earth being tilled for our neighbors garden

-new cucumber soap from Sappo Hill

taste

-a cheeseburger from the Kennedy School restaurant

-the most delicious "fat tire" sandwich from the little red bike cafe
(bagel, herb aoili, fried egg, local bacon, and white cheddar cheese)

touch

-the feel of our new crisp duvet

-rays of sunshine on my face (!!!)

hear

-little wings on constant rotation (thanks, James)

-the lovely song "two step" by the band low

This month, Chelsea's piece combines letterpress and screen printing and is just gorgeous.

My photo is one I took while on my recent trip to my home town. It features one of my Mom's many collections ; real eggs!

This photo is special to me because it reminds me so much of my family.
