Happy Monday to you!
I am actually more than happy about Monday being here. I had a weekend full of little failures.
I spent a lot of time and money on things this weekend that-for one reason or another-didn't work out.
But I was reminded (on twitter actually-how lame am I?) that "if everyone in the world put all their problems into a big pile and had to pick some out again, you'd happily scramble to pick up your own".
I really do believe that. I am one lucky girl.
My problems are but a tiny speck in comparison to the hurdles millions of people in this world face.
Whenever I feel like this, I am reminded to give.
I think James and I are going to look for some new volunteer opportunities here in Portland.
Do any of you have any suggestions for us?
