In order to combat the winter blues, Cori and I have proposed a weekly outing that involves picture taking, an interesting place and yummy treats.
Cupcakes and Laurelhurst Park seemed like a no brainer, but darkness and rain had put a big damper on our plans. Well, we went out finally anyway-despite the darkness and raindrops. (This was, of course, before that nice sunny day last weekend.)
The park is gorgeous and I cannot believe that in my five years of living here I had never taken the time to explore it. We were surprised to see that some of the plants had started to bloom. The pond was full of ducks and just the most gorgeous shade of green. I am always floored by how many different shades of green there are here in Oregon.
I must go back on a sunny day.
