SO, so, so, so, so.
So yeah, Flew into Portland from New York late last night. The past five days have been a whirlwind. How to describe them in an instant...
seven planes in five days, meeting people who you swear you've kinda known your whole life, total exhaustion, total elation, hand made loveliness, the cutest dog, delicious pizza, amazing business conversations, so many dreamy ideas, lovely customers, selling out of your goods you thought you'd never sell, bad airport food, scoring big trades, beautiful stone walls, and coming home to 132 emails.
phew. Can I explain it all later?
I am so grateful to those of you who came out to Second Storie Indie Market this weekend and made it such a huge success. And I am so grateful to those of you out there who donated towards my trip to help send me to the sale. I cannot explain how grateful I am to you. Truly, this may sound lame and dramatic-but the experience was life changing. I will write more about that later.
Most of all, I have to express my huge thanks to Shanna. She and I have been "internet friends" for years and without her none of this would have happened. She invited me, hosted me, toted me around all weekend....but most of all-she just plain inspires me to be me. And you know-people like that are few and far between and I just love her for it. Thank you, Shanna.
Okay-I have orders to package, emails to answer, film to develop and I gots to go to work....but I'll be in this space soon.
