Polaroid Recap

Variationonathemepola

Polastraw

These are the my two most popular Polaroids from 'roid week 2008 .
I must admit I've become very addicted to these photos, which is sad because as you all know-Polaroid is ceasing film production (so, family in small town California if you find it on the shelf-buy it!)....such is life, right? You can see some of my other Polaroids here .

As far as my favorites from others.....

-this one takes the cake (or donut)

-this one feels like it's from another era

-I can't get over this one

-or this one

The very amazing and kind  Deb has started a new blog, everyday polaroid -check it out!

Last night James and I finally went to go see Juno....we went to $3 theater, yes we are behind. I know it's on video and I know everyone has seen it and as trendy as it is and as much as I didn't want to like it-I did. I sat there and cried my eyes out. My favorite character is the dad. I know he's not real, but the speech he gave her in the kitchen made me sob. So good....

i'm with you on the juno video, that dad made me cry like a baby (first time i've cried watching a movie since i was six and watched lassie).

funny - i had the same reaction to juno. i really didn't want to like it - but i did - i saw it on a plane.... :)

I haven't seen Juno yet. So you're not the last one! It's in my Netflix queue (still working its way out of Film Week, I think).

I am bummed about Polaroid too, especially since all the Flickring has made me want a camera. Oh well! I'm always the last one on the band wagon, as you can see.

i loved juno, i thought it was very sweet.

love your polaroids, they're great!

oh, me, too--i loved juno. and that speech made me cry, too.

I still haven't seen Juno, but would love to! I love the slip polaroid.

i haven't seen it either. though after all the hype, reviews, etc. i kind of feel like i have. glad you liked it, i feel like that's a good recommendation for me. again, i loved all your polas. and your favorites were nice choices too. (the donut shop one kills me too).

I really, really love this post about Polaroids. Great post, great links, great photos from you.

I am excited because Juno arrived in today's mail from Netflix. I have made plans to watch it tonight while my husband is at a Cardinal's game.

Happy day to you and yours.

hello, longtime lurker! your post about polaroids sent me off on a polaroid voyage of discovery of my own...i can't concentrate at work now because i can't wait to get home and get that clunky camera out of the cupboard!

thank you!
