So...
Monday the 14th starts Beautiful Film Week!
Here's how it's gonna go.
All week long, maybe everyday, maybe every other day, maybe twice a day I will post about a beautiful film I've seen. Maybe just photos from the film, maybe some lovely quotes from the film, maybe a synopsis-whatever. Just a post to show it is Beautiful. I'd love you all to play along.
If you have a blog or flickr you can make you post there, or simply leave a suggestion for a film in the comments!
You can either email me or leave a comment when you chose to post, and I will link to your post!
Hope you are all having a great new year!

Can't wait to read about the films. And I love this group of photos.

love your photos abby! beautiful idea about the film week. suggestions - although i know tastes are different: basically anything from ang lee (the ice storm) & zhang yimou (raise the red lantern). for pretty costumes, decor and beautiful pictures: a good year and kingdom of heaven by ridley scott and elizabeth I & II by shekhar kapur. one of the most beautiful films ever: room with a view by james ivory. i don't want to clogg your space anymore...
have fun in film week abby!

Oh, Abby, these photos! What a delight to start my day off with them.
And I think I may be down for the beautiful film week posts. I see very few movies, so I'm going to have to reach down deep in my memory (sad, right), but I think I've got at least a few to mention.

A beautiful movie I saw recently was "helvetica". It was a documentary all about the font face. I cannot wait to watch it again!

I will be joining you for beautiful film week, already have a list going. Wonderful photos!

i'd love to play along.
might be tough because often my criteria for a beautiful movie means beautifully tragic or dramatic.
hope it's okay for the film to be beautifully melancholic.

Hi--Sorry about your flu! I'm a new reader/fan of your blog and love the beautiful movie idea. I'd like to add two Indian films (not Bollywood!)to your list. I've posted them on my blog (The Violet Hoarder)and included a link to your list. If you can include my nominees and link to my blog--great! Feel better!
