embarassing piles
Lisa and Shari have posted some piles-and well-I cave in to peer pressure :)
Here are my most embarrassing piles, my piles of magazines.
Yes, I realize that this is not cute, crafty, organized etc. but i want to show you why I need to clean out my junk. This is bad-some of the piles are give away piles, but still-ah!!
This is my motivation -I want to post cute, clean, beautiful photos of what I do with these spaces once this junk is gone. Well, I am not getting rid of any Martha Mags-but still. AH- okay more for ya-
Cooking mags on top-knitting mags on bottom...
give away pile of "Lucky"s and "Elle"s...
hidden under my desk...
my Martha mags...

Thanks for all your lovely comments! I am trying to slowly answer as many as I can-but I really do appreciate you all. Also-thanks to those of you checking out my ebay stuff. Tomorrow I will be listing knitting magazines and patterns.

not so embarassing at all.... wow... lots of mags... and i spy the great stamping craft book in photo one....
i would check out your ebay stuff, but i'm trying to PURGE too.... :D

oh my god, getting rid of magazines is the worst. i started going through and throwing out everything that was over a year old. of course i had to go through every single one and make sure i cut out certain pages or pictures. then i get distracted and just sit for hours re-reading everything.
once the old stuff is gone you'll never know you missed it. and then you'll have room to start the collection all over again! yayay!

I just purged my studio of old magazines and it felt SO good. [I only kept MS and Domino magazines!] Now, I must conquer the other junk. =)

Oh, my husband always teases me about my piles!! If I showed you a picture of my spare room where craft junk and the 12 count of toilet paper gets throw. Oh, jeez, I have some things to get rid of myself. It is theraputic to get rid of things. Getting rid of physical clutter makes your mind feel so much clearer!! Hard as it may be, it is totally worth it. . .

I am so glad to know that I am not alone! The piles here are out of control. At least yours are organized . . . my Martha's are comingling with Real Simple, Domino, and all of my hubby's mags. I think you could inspire me to get it all under control!
